I have always had respect for truck drivers and what they do to keep everything going, not really having much of a home life and putting up with traffic and inconsiderate drivers pulling out in front of them and not stepping on it, but had no idea something like this was part of it.
I always had pride in myself with my Muncie M-24 4 speed in my 56 Chevy very warmed up heavy duty street racer with more than thousands of high rpm shifts, never missing a gear like Ronnie Sox with his 426 Hemi drag car Plymouth, but this video is crazy. SMMF he is winding through the three lever maze every acceleration and slowdown.
Thanks for sharing. Slap that pattern on the back of your jeep for the "Equipped With Mellinium Theft Protection" spare tire cover. Ha Ha Woops, I would not be able to get out of my own driveway if it were real.
Again thanks to all for posting. Keeps our minds sharper of things we do not know and for us older guys reminds us of things we have forgotten about.
OK, I am an old guy with a lot of life stories. Many posts back, picture of a three wheeler front tire in the air with his daughters hanging on with smiles on their faces. Never done three wheelers, but have a picture hanging on my wall of me on a 1972 250 Husqvarna with my 5yo daughter in front of me on the tank hanging onto the crossbar going up and over a rise. I did a copy of the 3 wheeler picture and sent it to my now 51yo daughter.
I reminded her of the time for some very odd reason I had to pick her up from grade school on my 1972 3cy 750 Kawasaki. (THE original crotch rocket) I remember I had a hard time finding a way to take her dirt bike helmet with me to pick her up, but needed to keep her safe and legal. One place on 31st street and New Haven street, Tulsa, OK turning west for anyone familiar with the area, middle of town. 4 lane with an almost blind hill from the east with 40-50 rush hour traffic coming over it. I was watching back over the hill for a clear space, pulled out and rolled the throttle back to make sure none of the 40-50 mp would get us to go two blocks after it leveled off for us to turn off. I had not looked the other way to notice a Tulsa Police Car the opposite direction as I pulled out and accellerated. He made a U-Turn and pulled me over after I had turned off within two blocks on our side street. I told him the story, bla bla unusual that I picked her up on my MC, true. Made sure she had her helmet, true. Blind hill if he was not familiar, true etc. Daughter is still sitting on the bike with obvious dirt bike helmet. He said OK, I now understand the situation, but you should really try to keep the front wheel down on the pavement next time if I have to do that again. "Yes Sir" is all I could say. I had spent so much time wired to that H-2 Kawasaki I had not realized I was floating the front tire 6-8 inches as normal. Ha. I stalled as long as I could but finally had to hit the kickstarter and idle off with the 3 expansion chambers popping as quietly as I could.
Yep these mems do current events justice, but also spark the minds of some of us older guys of things we have forgotten to think about.
Keep them cumming like my present older girlfriend.
