I think those things need a 50 amp (12.5kw) 240 volt outlet to charge properly, and in a decent amount of time. Even the F150, which puts out around 7kw is going to take a while.
I came to this realization about 30 years ago.... These days I'm to the "Right" of "We the People".... great idea but flawed in the thought that anyone would not work to subvert it from day one.... which has been every waking hour of just about everyone in any Federal Government. Given the opportunity there is no one that will put others interests over their own if it means losing power.
I think there are some outside influences not quite in that model.
Personally my Utopia is basically Anarchy, but not like a Mad Max style. In my town, Anarchy might very well work, if we all had the same, strong moral stance and often worked with each other for common goals. However Communism would work in that instance as well. In both scenarios we would likely have to "weed" the population which would completely erode the strong moral stances we held.
Of course almost by definition Communism is essentially the lawn mower and we're the lawn. Democratic Socialists are just the height setting on the mower. A dictatorship is mostly just an individual playing farmer. They might actually good at the roll, but their feedback is not from the lawn.
Democracy is just a popularity contest completely subjective to the whims of the day. If it rains today we'll change the lawn because there will never be sun. When it's sunny we'll assume there will never be a rainy day.
A constitutional guided Representative democracy, should allow the popularity and whims expressed locally through spread out democracy and restrained by overlapping powers and transparency with certain carve outs and if based on strong moral stances, can last for a long time, though not as nimble as any other form of gov, but incredibly powerful and slow enough to have some endurance.
I think most systems work when there's a strong common goal. And during war, most turn into dictatorships.
I think most corporations have stepped away from American values and interests (lately to gather favor with the CCP) and are now essentially foreign actors (maybe they should go through a process to become "US citizens", since they are in many ways individuals, though they are almost better analogized as something from quantum physics). Of course it's complicated and therefore it's interesting and much of what the US should be discussing, but I can't when the state has taken control of education and they can't produce adults that have any useful skills and often lack sound morality and in some areas are trying to castrate children. Or when the state can't control crime, so they try to ensure I can't protect myself the way I see fit. The gov is spending incredible amounts of money and over regulating to the point the US is choking and goods are already being produced too slowly and we're over reliant on foreign nations, we armed the Taliban better than our allies, etc...
I think most of the Gov and even in industry, has essentially turned into a bunch of ignorant and incompetent people ie almost every one of us mostly coming through gov education and instead of learning our craft we put up barriers to being fired. Therefore you can't actually complete your job because you'd lose it, so you milk it and create enough leaks that it looks like you need more fingers in the dam to hold back the rising waters.
The worst human invention of the last 50 years was the MBA. Sameness in business was wanted so the banking systems could have an even playing field from which to judge credit worthiness. Well... it's equally created mediocrity and when you have your business leaders not being the people that built the business you get what we have....

Anarchy is a beautiful, wonderful (non-) system that has zero chance of working. But I hear what you're saying, although I'd use the term "Ethics" rather than "Morals" as the latter word is over used and is mixed up with various religions in various ways - each of which pushes their own version of it.
Would charge faster being dragged with a tow strap (regen breaking)
