This reminds me of a local BBQ place: They will substitute garlic bread instead of a sandwich roll for some of their sandwiches. It becomes a giant mess, but SO GOOD!

I would have bypassed the phone call and went straight to a very personal, very pointed face to face with the teacher and other school admin!
That’s all I would have needed as a parent to pull my kids from school permanently.
That may solve the problem for your kids but that's the reason we've gone as far south as we have as a society. People have forgotten how to stand up for what's right, and stand up to the very people trying to teach our kids to be passive.
I taught my kids to stand up to bullies and backed them when ever they did. So what kind of father would I be if I didn't stand up to the batshit crazy policies that allow this kind of criminal behavior! We need to stop being keyboard warriors and start taking the fight to them directly (so to speak).
Let's also not forget that we as a society have become completely reliant on the government for the most part.
People need to get back to the basics. Pull their kids from school and realize they don't need a government institution to raise their kids. Get back to farming, crafting, building, etc.
It's far past time that we start looking for ways we can withdraw from institutions, whether that be school, taxes, etc.
The more government ran institutions we can remove ourselves from, the more independent we become as a society.
Just think about the impact (and message) it would have if 90% of parents removed their kids from public school and homeschooled instead. That would send a tremendous message to our elected assholes on both sides of the aisle (though mainly the left).
That's easier said than done for the vast majority of the population of the US. Pushing back and forcing the educators to teach traditional education, like reading, writing, and arithmetic, and keeping their personal opinions/agendas out of the classroom is going to become necessary.
It is indeed easier said than done.
In fact, I think what you'll see happen is that more-and-more of these "progressive" teachers retire. Not that that would be a bad thing, but it's going to leave us with a huge teacher shortage (which there already is from what I'm told) and any of the candidates that try to replace them will likely just be more libtards that want to talk about their personal sex lives and gender identities.
We should probably get used to the fact that most of the good teachers are dead and gone, or at least retired. Teaching doesn't mean the same thing as it used to decades ago. Now we are stuck with the leftovers, the trash if you will.
I finally got tired of ranting about it which is one of the many reasons we pulled our kids to homeschool them. While I'll still fight to keep that shit out of schools, I realize it's an uphill battle that we may never win (not in my lifetime at least).
The battle we are fighting now isn't for us though, it's for future generations. This culture war won't see a real end for at least a few more generations. By that time it's either us or them that will have won.
I guess the good news is I'll be dead and gone by then.
If a teacher handed that to my kid, I would be going to jail. Enough said.
