Yeah I edited the post you quoted. 0-80% is the typical charge for an EV. Charging to 100% takes longer and is bad for them.

The entire infrastructure for charging is a massive money maker. I've been approached by a group that is providing these to places like hospitals, shopping centers, etc. The return on investment can be as low as 3 months and it's hard to not make money. Green Business baby!!
Mark my word, at some point it will cost just as much to charge an electric car as it will to fill your tank with gas.

My son has a duel motor model 3... 350 mi full charge 3.7 0-60 mph.
As he says to those who know little.....
Costs .04 cents per mi for charging
I never need to stop and refuel ( it charges over night while he sleeps, just like his cell phone.
I didn't buy it to save money or save a tree.
It competes against a BMW 3 series or Mercedes ..... Not a Honda civic
