No in a 7” barrel 5.56, it’s like getting punched on the face every time they pull the trigger. Most horrible gun on the range. My .338 wm isn’t as loud.
My 460 mag in a 5” ported barrel will make the target positioning machines at one of our local gun ranges reset on each trigger pull. They require me to shoot it in the rifle bays too. I’ve never had that happen with anything else and I’ve shot rifles with brakes on them there.
It usually draws a crowd when it gets shot. The concussion is something to experience.
