That is the hi-tech model that I had. My grandfather had the very first TV in our town, all the guys would come over to watch wrestling.
My dad bought the very first RCA vhs camera the unit that hung from a strap weighed 13 pounds. I can't remember how heavy the camcorder was.
That is probably one of the few things that a smartphone would do well - a good use of the technology!
Someday you might see a reason for one... I hate to admit this is actually true meme for me..
And is pretty typical of all the countries of the "British Empire". Perfidious Albion!
That's about the only use for one that makes any sense - a camera with a built-in display that allows easy magnification.
