There's houses like that all over out here. Driving around in winter is always a shock because it reveals houses you didn't know were there.
I did the 2010 census for some extra cash.
Checked at least half a dozen houses with no power or running water. Including an old black couple that told me the story about how they got the 20 acres they lived on when the base came in (1918) and moved the whole black community off the riverfront to build the base.
Another old black dude was blind. His daughter (in her 60s) brought him a cooler with his meals and put him on the porch every morning and tucked him in bed every night. No water or electricity there. She said he lived there his whole life and wanted to die there. Was just waiting for God to take him so he could join his wife again.
Those folks were still happy. Different world.

I was thinking the same thing. But then I'd have to give it to someone else because I'm not gay.
Looks like it's for the vertically challenged. No handicap bar to hold on to and barely any space with the toilet there. Do better Germany.
