You're damn right they are playing a part. They care nothing for the system they are in and nothing for the public at large. It's about collapsing the system and the lever they are pulling to do that is division. Division by wealth, race, sex/gender/, age, occupation, disability, education, religion and so on. Everything the Obama and Biden administrations has done is drive wedges between groups they define.
No!... they don't believe this BS, but there are people who do. That's why the play continues daily on every channel.
So... they think that the grocery store chains are "gouging" customers huh.... Just checked the latest annual reports for the grocery store companies (not Walmart, P&G etc.) named below and the average profit over the last couple of years is around 1.9% overall. Right in line with the 30 year running average.

This is a political ploy using the power of the Federal Government in an election year. If they take action it will force these businesses to defend themselves and incur massive legal costs.... which will cause prices to rise. They don't care however... they want them to collapse so the government can "take over".

I'll put my tinfoil hat on and say that I agree with that assessment. I could be wrong, but so far my track record for predictions is spotless as I'm sure most of ours is.
A lot of things would have to be planned just perfectly for that to be an attack. Why call an SOS? Why not do it at 8am when the bridge is packed with commuters?
I'm not there yet. Let's see what we learn late next week when the cycle has spit this out.

I read something the other day where a guy claimed to be in cybersecurity who was talking about how hackers will demand say $10 million and then companies will pay a cybersecurity security company $11 million to remediate the problem.
Like the two of you, I have had numerous head injuries from two-wheeled shenanigans (with and without a motor) while helmetless. I also have one very serious motocross bike wreck where a helmet likely saved my life. Or so I've been told - I only remember going to bed the night before and coming to in the CAT scanner.
Eventually, I came to understand the importance of wearing proper gear, but only after ringing my bell too many times. Yeah, I know - that explains a lot about me...

I don’t believe I’d be able to walk today had it not been for a chest protector I was wearing on a crash once. I had full gear and could barely move for a couple weeks couldn’t hardly rest my back on the seat in the truck to get home. Still wasn’t smart enough to go to the doctor, my toes still wiggled.
