Too bad neither major party believes in this - they're too busy pushing their respective religions and stabbing us in the back.
Association.... they need to be seen doing what ever the leaders push... they typically don't understand it but they need to be seen as part of it anyway.
Runs deeper than that... more like superiority signaling. One is how one sees themself... the other is how they believe they are better, smarter and superior.
Way I see it, its all the same. Virtue Signalling always implies that "they" think they're superior.
If the Libertarian party ever got a large enough showing to be in power, I suspect they would become the same way.
Any politician, regardless of political alignment, has one major job to do that they pursue tirelessly after getting elected.
And that job is to get re-elected.
They will say/do/espouse whatever they think will get them there.
If I could wish one thing in politics it would be term limits for all. ZERO career politicians.
Those maps aren't worth much in the flood areas after the hurricane. You'd need offroad maps and GPS updated by rescue parties.
I'm not sure this is a completely fair poll. Most "non-christian" believers are probably first of second generation who've come from countries who do not have free speech.
The implication is right in the fake Republican's wheelhouse however.... Christians Good.... everyone else BAD. Also asking groups who are "non white" if they prefer "inclusion" over "free speech" would seem to invalidate the poll. What do you expect them to answer? Especially, given the current definitions of "Inclusion".
So... Elon says that Jews, Non-White Christians, non religious and people of another faith are the bad guys. Not sure that's a good look.
The party named Libertarian has drifted too far left for me, at least the last time I paid attention.
Yes... it has. I'm all for starting the Objectivist Party however.
