Weird way to reply to my message?? I didn't wanna drink it when I didn't want to drink it, you know? I've never made chili with beer in it. I use beans though what do you think about that?

I have beverages in storage from very many years ago.
Beans is chili is a hangin’ offense where I’m from.
Tomatoes and meat is pasta sauce not chili

Tomato sauce is just so the chili powder gets distributed evenly. That’s also where the beer helps out. It takes more than a tablespoon of chili powder to make real chili, so ya need enough liquid.

I realized that what you referred to as chili with beans is what we called Hungarian goulash.
Yeah it was weird. Still edible, at least. But super weird.
I'll have to look that up in a bit. I wouldn't mind calling it goulash. I loosely follow a "boilermaker" chili recipe. Or is that boilermaker "chili"?
