Then your post is misleading. You are an American with Polish heritage. Just like all the other people born here. I had a long discussion with a SGT that was in the tank battalion that was protecting the FOB I was deployed to in Syria. He kept saying I am Mexican / Hispanic. After a couple weeks, I got tired of hearing him bash his American Troops. I asked him where he was born? Texas. Where was he raised? Texas. If he raised his right hand, & swore the pledge we all do to serve in the US Military. He said yes. I broke it down to him he is an American as I am. We are the same same, different but still same. He thought about all the things I stated; and stopped going around saying he was Mexican / Hispanic after that. I am not trying to take away your heritage, keep it, celebrate it as I celebrate mine; but you are an American. You should be proud of that. If you are not, then you are part of the problem. You should resign your post and go where you can celebrate your Mexican / Hispanic heritage with other like minded people.

I apologize for the rant. I am not trying to impose my views on anyone. This is just my humble opinion.
