Words can't quite describe just how tempted I am right now.
I swear she's as tempting as a Snickers bar at a fat farm.

I realize very much- I remember seeing a 1968 Camaro Z 28 sale for $800
No one wanted anything to do with what we considered the classics today it seems.
My brother was five years older so he was 16 in ‘77 …. I can’t count the Chevelle’s and everything else he had.
You could get one with a part-time job or just hauling hay for the summer-
Incidentally, do you think that GS in the picture was intended to look like an X model or was that a pretty common paint scheme?

I don't follow... can you drop a few paragraphs for us so we might be able to better understand your view of this matter.

Some "things" are just built to be flogged... knees, backs, hips and other major joints are not "of those things".
