Anybody up for a random meme dump?

Water is a great cooling medium, so if it leaks like a sieve then no worries about overheating as it’s sitting on the bottom with an unlimited supply of cooling fluid flowing through the superstructure. I would worry less about the cooling system and first focus on water tightness.

Of course that's where the gearhead part comes in , The Alfa class subs didn't use pressurized water like everything else. They used a lead -bismuth liquid metal. Basically the cooling system was molten lead , If the reactor wasn't operating the lead in the system solidified into a brick , with no way of reheating the entire system.
