Turns out, my next door neighbor went to our local no kings rally. We're conservative baptist, she's liberal, unsure if any religious affiliation, with a gay son & straight daughter. My neighbor gets out of the car with her sisters, all 3 in their mid 60s. POd at everything!!! You would think you'd come home happy & fulfilled, knowing you did some good in the world. I mean, that's why we believe in the things we believe in, right? Nope, screeching brakes, slamming car doors, slapping the roof of the car while talking, language, etc. It was actually funny, but she's a good neighbor

It completely blows my mind that the "silent" generation is so full of liberals... One of the last generations that resisted integration and in my experience "one" of the most racist groups of people I have ever known..

Are they just so used to believing the media that they still trust everything they are told? Hell. I can remember as a young padawan watching the likes of Tom Brokaw, Walter Cronkite, Peter Jennings, Dan Rather... etc. back when they "reported" the news vs twisting and putting a spin on it like media personalities are doing today. Yeah they still had their political ideologies, but for the most part what they reported was facts as they were presented to them.

I don't think it's quite as full as it appears.

If they weren't getting paid to wander around for a few hours, they wouldn't be there at all.

Truth!!!! So glad I don't live in a more "diverse" city/state....

Haven't had a chance to dive into the locker situation yet. Sometimes life cooperates and some times it just doesn't give a shit what you "want" to get done.

Time and money man .... One very sad thing to remember , Colorado wasn't always a diverse state , wingnuts from CA and back east moved here with their fruity ideas. I've heard that the same thing is happening to ID. , MT , and parts of WY. , give it time .

The hippie generation and the one just after them, which was the first wave of what I call the Birkenstock/Hemp group, are 75% of the liberal left. They were collectivists and anti-christian back then and are embittered old narcissists these days.

Theres a shift in Idaho but they still voted for the R's at nearly 70%.

I grew up in Boise and left town in 85 and the state in 88. In that entire time (25 years) Idaho had a Democrat Governor and one Democrat Senator and one Democrat House Member. The legislature was taken over by Libertarians in the early 80's for a few years.

The farmers loved their subsidies and the "Agra-Dems" were the ones pushing them in those days... So... Libertarian leaning people who wanted subsidies. In the late 70's Idaho Governor Cecil Andrus was appointed Secretary of the Interior by Carter... So Idaho wasn't always as "Red" as it is now.
