So so sad … I loved working in Portland back in the summer of 2008 … sad state the city and the people are in.
How can a person watch this and then advocate for making drugs legal???
Imaging if all drugs are wiped from the streets, and create a program where a homeless person can work a day as a public servant (cleaning streets, working fields, cleaning graffiti, etc) and as payment 3 hot meals and a warm bed will be provided. Work 5 days straight and get fresh outfit. Work a month straight and become eligible for tech school. Work a year straight and get access to low income housing. This starts the process of becoming self reliant.
Also, open mental health facilities.
I think the system in principal would yield self reliant funding, and eventually a more productive population with cleaner streets in the process.
I swear it's like the levels of bold stupidity and willful ignorance in these fuking people is some sort of competition to see who can outdo everyone else. The people that started the tradition of pumpkin carving (Celtic) in the US never owned slaves and were in most cases treated worse than slaves....
Color me surprised (not) yet another case of Mad Cow Disease... Go back to chewing your cud heifer!!!
