TREASURY SECRETARY SCOTT BESSENT WARNS OIL AND GAS COMPANIES: DROP PRICES THE SAME WAY YOU RAISED THEM OR FACE TRUMP’S WRATH
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent just put retail gas stations and oil companies on notice.
“I think the gas prices will start coming down pretty quickly,” Bessent said. “We’ve had big declines in the past two weeks. We’ll be looking at Treasury to try to keep retail gas stations honest. That you did this on the way up, better be doing this on the way down!”
When the host called it a warning, Bessent doubled down: “I’m sure the president will call out anyone who’s a bad actor.”
He added with a smile: “I’m sure everyone will be a good actor…”
I had a rule in college and still do in seeking any kind of doctor, if i can't pronounce their name, I am choosing someone else.
After my first semester in college, I had the same rule.
