Yeah, for a long time I had no idea what a microprocessor “stack winder” was. Then I realized the professor was talking about a “stack pointer”. Ooooohhh, that makes so much more sense.

That reminds me of another one. I had an Indian TA for statistics. He used to write on the chalk border all the time.

He couldn’t touch chalk for whatever reason so he wore latex gloves. He had the hairiest hands I’d ever seen so the gloves looked so nasty packed full of hair.
