Those are to assist the vision impaired with navigating turns.
I'm the age that when I watched the Cars movie with my kids (4 years old now) and the Sheriff cop had these — I had to google what they are....
And I had kids late sooo....
I'm old enough to not only know what they are but to also might even of had them installed on a vehicle....
It was probably watch 3-5 when I was thinking 'what are those' (that 3-5 of watch 1,000,000,000,000 watches — my kids are trillionaires, too...).
After finding out, they made a lot of sense. I get why they exist and I own a used 2016 vehicle that the wheels wished the previous owner had them.......
Some of those 1950's & 60's & 70's boats really needed them... Had them on my 61 Lincoln Continental....
And I might of watched Cars more than once or twice.... Might have even taken my daughter to the movie theater to see it when it was 1st released...
