I bet that's what paper bags cost. What can you get for 10 cents? At 13.8 mpg with my last fill up, and $4.599/gal gas,10 cents gets me almost 1/3 of a mile in my TJ.

I don't like seeing plastic grocery bag litter. It seems we can't expect people to clean up after themselves, and no one else is cleaning up after them quickly enough, so I think paper bags are a better option.

I not sure government need to be involved in the decision making here.

We bought some nice canvas bags to bring our groceries homes, but they were outlawed during covid. Haven't used them since.

I paid $3.39 a gallon to fill up yesterday. Didn’t see any plastic bags blowing around either.

Store policy. They had a sign, stating you could not use reusable bags. I'm guessing they were afraid people would drag Covid into the store with their canvas bags. I don't recall if they specifically stated canvas.
