That is friggin' awesome! My only experience with this kind of thing was the "Star Trek" game on the TRS-80 which would buzz the cassette relay for an explosion. Pretty soon said relay would end up getting frapped, so we all hacked our copies to not do that.
Its actually not quite as bad here today, only 94 with a slight breeze. I actually went outside and cut down the dead triple trunk palm tree in the front yard.

in friggen Boca Raton for the next week. The only thing worse than the weather is the traffic and the drivers. Both are way worse than driving on the belt parkway in Brooklyn.
If I was him I'd have been single and cat-less right after that comment then be right back on the couch ordering pizza delivery!!!
Assuming the cat was hers, it wouldn't have gotten to the point of cohabitation in the first place.
Looking forward to giving this step to my kids when they're old enough to help. They love 'playing' with our emergency lights since power around us is flacky in bad weather. So they understand flashlights/lanterns.
But if they inherited the 'put lighting here' from their mother — They'll learn discipline and a whole lot of new swear words on our first lesson...
