It's crazy back when I was fishin' 4 days a week you had 1 at the console and 1 in small one up front that were used to tell the depth mainly. Back then you fished. Now days the electronics does everything but reel them in, it's like playing a video game, SAD !

Cane pole. Bobber. Worm. Sometimes bacon when I was too lazy to dig worms. Nice little brim or bluegill. When I went high tech I tossed the cane pole for a zebco 303

Same here, except my upgrade was a Zebco 202. The 303 was way too fancy for my wallet.
