Is anyone using a OBD2 or GPS heads up display for their TJ. I'm always curious about more data that I can view beyond what's on the dash (I know, I'm probably just looking for more gadgets to burn a hole in my pockets

I had a cheap GPS HUD but honestly, I rarely plug it in anymore. I found the HUD kind of hard to see and not really that useful.
I now have an old iPhone (8 plus) mounted right above my dash that flips between OBD Fusion and Gaia GPS.

I'm looking for the same, tried 2 from AliExpress but they would never sync up with the OBD2 in the jeep.
I tried to use the stand alone HUDs without success. They would not sync up in my Jeep…

There are similar configurations to those that can be set up as well (acceleration/feet per second/etc…)…
My goal was for tuning and diagnostic purposes. Extremely helpful and works like a charm…
That’s one nice thing about doing it with an old phone or tablet, toggling between Apps. OBD Fusion and Gaia are my main two at the moment…
Does the OBD2 device shut down when the car is off? In theory I could use that to automate waking and sleeping the phone screen
