Dude , that's awesome , my uncle still has a saturn yellow 70 GSX...theY only made 678 that year .. and you had to buy them the way they were built they were factory production only ... There was no special order until 71.

Yep, they were what they were, with that 455 Stage 1 motor, Turbo 400, etc.....
But lots of folks at the time could not get their head around a Buick muscle car, they were a bit outside the norm. Sorry I have no pics of the GSX, but here's one of a '68 Wildcat I had a bit later on.

The GSX is just a really cool , nice muscle car .

Jimmy's will bark the tires at 90 when it shifts out (it's an automatic)

He's owned it since 71 , my cousin bought it new in 70 in Fort Payne , Alabama.

Left the lot burning rubber .

He only got outran one time ..by a regeared hemi car.
