Best filter for CAI systems?

Some here swear by some kind of aftermarket paper element filter for CAI air tubes but I don't know what brand they're saying works well.

What I think you're calling fuses in your photo are actually the relays aka solenoids that control the winch motor.

I used an AEM Dryflow cone filter years ago with no ill effects (that I know of).

Thanks for the info Jerry.

If one was to use one of the paper/cellulose filters on the end of the CAI, do you think that would be similar in term of filtration to the stock system?

I wouldn’t mind going back to stock but would need to rewire the warm winch setup (including new wires) and find a place for what I think are the fuses for the warn system. Currently mounted to the sheet metal CAI divider

I've used both AFE & AEM Dry filters and have driven down some very dusty roads before and never found any signs of dirt or dust inside the intake tubes.

Like Jerry said those items in your picture are the solenoids that control the in & out functions of your winch. It wouldn't be that hard to either move them or remount the control box onto the winch. They are already mounted onto the housing backing plate. the cover is all that is missing.

Depending on which winch you have the cover could look like this.

So if you want to move the solenoid pack you can and then install a stock air cleaner.
