CB mount on grab handle

grab handle is kind of a stretch to reach the mic isn't it? what's wrong with the side of the console by the shifters?

It's a really, really nice solution, and priced very good as well. Just an option incase you want to consider another mounting option. The guy makes them himself.

I don't have a hand held CB, but I bought some hooks that clip to my mic, and I either hang it on the rear view mirror, or on the grab handle. Not sure if yours has a knob on the back, but just in case, this is what I use for mine. There are other versions such as metal, but this is what I use for my mic

The Air Bag deploys above the handle I'm sure...it would knock you for a loop if it deployed...
So you have an airbag above, a glove box below, pretty sure mounting a CB to the handle is going to compromise both.

I zip tied the module just below the glove box. Keeps it all clean looking. I find reaching for the mic quite easy, just to the right of the radio. These Jeeps aren't very wide, everything is within easy reach. I'm looking at an external speaker now, it's not loud enough on the road.

So just the mike/controller is mounted "near" the handle. Not quite how I pictured the question.

Yeah, I actually don't even plug it in until I think I will use it. Try to leave less bling in the cab with a soft top.
