I think it’s all in where you put it, but that’s IMO.
Chrome wheels back in 2008. I bent them off road, they wobbled, and some of the chrome flaked off and rusted.
They didn't last long on the Jeep.
Nowadays, I still have chrome headlight bezels, but that's it. I think they look better.

I’m not a fan of chrome either but if you like it that’s all that matters. Build your Jeep for you not other people. If you’re looking for ideas and input then you’re in luck there’s a lot of that here. Rock sliders get scratched and gouged if you wheel around big rocks and black is easy to touch up I have a lot of aluminum parts that aren’t painted cause I like them raw. When I was your age I supported the ex-wife and kids of a chrome shop owner with a least one of my vehicles. It only looks good clean and shiny and that takes time. Your not going to be doing the same kind of wheeling as I do or the next guy so if you think it’s cool, own it.The ones I run are pictures above and are pics of my Jeep, I think it looks good but what is your opinion?

Yeah I have a Shale Green 97 TJ tan soft top and interior. I admire when jeeps have a secondary color like a black Jeep with red accents. I prefer silver accents on mine as it looks more African Safari like... also is the only accent I can think of that would look good on my Jeep other than black... but everyone has black I want to turn heads in a bad ass way.I’m not a fan of chrome either but if you like it that’s all that matters. P.S. I like winch guard bumpers.

It's yours, It'll look unique. Post picsI have silver wheels and chrome diamond plate rockers, I am thinking about doing a duplicolor Chrome job on mirrors, gas cap, and getting chrome door handles and chrome brake light cages. Anybody have a Jeep with lots of chrome? Please post pictures. I’m open to suggestions and advice. I’m not sure if i want a chrome look but I’m willing to try it out. If anyone has advice please send it in. Is it a good idea or a bad idea?
