Yeah I hate when people make fun of jeeps or trash Jeep mods because those mods and the freedom to customize the Jeep is what makes them great.

SOME chrome is fine in my book but you can go overboard...I removed or painted out some of the chrome on mine when I first got it...but I kept the chrome grill.
Yeah, but Bruiser's in a class by himself, not to be messed with.
Your sliders had the shrockworks laser cut out? Ah I wanted mine to have that but they switched to a solid design with no branding now.

That is my favorite Jeep color of all time, very nice! Do what you want with it. Were it mine, the chrome rocker panels would be black, chrome just seems to clash with green in my book. But it's not mine.
Before I buy chrome accessories and go crazy I’m gonna leave the stealies as they are but I’m going to black plastidip the rockers, if I like them better than the chrome fenders I’ll leave them and if I don’t like it, I’ll peel it off and go the chrome route

I did that with my bumper that was polished stainless....I plasti dipped it and loved it.
Yeah I’m not dead set on the chrome or anything I want my Jeep to look the best so I’ll try the rockers plastidipped.

Something else to remember is it is YOUR Jeep. I'm with most everyone who said any chrome is too much chrome. BUT I am not buying your parts so you get what makes you happy. The aluminum rockers do look good on your Jeep. That use to be the standard for rocker protection but now there is stronger items for that. They don't look as flashy but you don't end up with dented up rockers any more either.
Just like these corner guards were the standard in 1992 when I bought my first YJ. But as things have evolved so has what we do to our Jeeps. It doesn't mean you can't still install the stuff on your rig. But understand that while it looks good it isn't going to protect your Jeep as well as the armor made for our rigs. But if you aren't going to be wheeling it in places where you might damage the body then it doesn't matter. For those of us that wheel in trees and rocks and such the armor helps to keep our rigs looking have way straight. But we pay the price in it being HEAVY.
Being in Florida I would worry about any chromed metal rusting over time. Aluminum parts to me would be better.
And BTW I don't even like chrome on my Harley. I have taken it off a little at a time. I would rather ride than polish chrome.
Make it yours and enjoy it.

I don't know about now but back in the day it was an option. I have the no-logo version because I dislike that kind of branding.
Some chrome is good, but too much of anything is bad. I think the whole murdered out black look is just done too much nowadays.
