I need some bulkhead jam nuts. Find a good price, load 30 of them in the cart and go to check out. It asks for an address to calculate shipping. Toss it in and it comes back with 80 dollars for USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate. I abandon the cart and find them elsewhere.

Get an email, "hey, you left something behind" I reply with a screen shot that the shipping prices are FUBAR and I won't be ordering until they are fixed. Okay, I'll get you a quote, send me an address. I tell him I'm in SoCal and the parts will easily fit in a small flat rate for 8 bucks.

No, I need the whole address. No you don't for that shipping method. Fix your shit. He still wants an address.

This kind of incompetence drives me nuts!

I called a shop yesterday to ask for an oil change quote. I said, "I have a 1997 Jeep Wrangler that takes 6 quarts of oil, can you give me a quote for your cheapest oil and filter change?" Her response made it so obvious that she wasn't paying attention. She said, "well we have a bunch of options for oil changes and it depends on which oil you choose and how much you need." I told her, again, the same sentence I opened with and she said that she wouldn't be able to help me and transferred me to someone else. They gave me a $50 quote for the "cheapest" oil change they offered. I hung up shortly after my jaw hit the floor.
