@mrblaine - I just finished braking in my new front and rear (I have rear disks) black magic pads.
It now brakes better than my Japanese sedan. I was able to lock my front wheels first time ever in my TJ.
It seems like it keeps getting better with more braking.
I wish I would install these pads couple of years ago.
With my 31s, 42RLE, 4.0 and 4.56 gears, it really drives, accelerates and stops like a pretty decent car.
Anyway, I would say that your pads are second best upgrade after regearing for anybody who wan to to ride TJ daily.
Whatever magic you have there, it is now safe to drive with suburbia traffic like any normal car. Don’t need to plan for huge braking distance, and in just feels much safer now.
