I noticed a leak in the front diff the other day, so decided to try a drain and fill. But once I got into it I couldn’t leave that nasty old cover the way the previous owner left it. So what should have taken and hour or so ended up taking 4 hours. But I’m much happier with a rustproofed, repainted Dana 30 cover paint matches the wheels. Now I just need new bolts and to tackle the rear Dana 44.

You know what..let's go nostalgia.
Paint the bolts hot pink...get some shock boots for the shift lever...and don't forget some bright electrical tape to spiral around the driveshafts too.
Am I missing anything from circa 1988(ish)?
It's always fun advising someone else on appearance that you'd never do to your own rig.

You can replace them one at a time if you sealed the cover properly.

If its not sealed properly, no matter how tight the bolts are, it will leak...so, if its not leaking, you're golden
