Who has a creative solution for mounting the Eaton switches on the factory TJ switch cluster? I want to use their switch, as it has a safety mechanism. The issue is the size of the switch is larger than that of a stock TJ swtich.
I have the dual stage switches that have a red cover to expose the switch, then the switch. It's pretty hard to accidentally engage my lockers unless a passenger is doing dumb things.

I put my Eaton E-Locker switch on the knee bolster trim panel just beyond the key cylinder. Like you I had tried to figure a way to fit it in a factory slot, but I couldn’t figure out a solution that would preserve the whole panel.
I made the switch to a 3d printed switch panel with carling switches and cut out the other side of my dash panel. I have to be intentional to activate any switch on the bottom row.
Thats a great idea. I've been thinking of how to handle this situation on mine as the lockers are switched on the SPOD which can be activated at any time.
Sometime in the next year or two my jeep is going to stay somewhere where it will be an in town runaround car and trail rig when i'm in town, so some protection from someone kicking the lockers on running down the highway and tearing all manner of shit up seems appropriate.
