Don’t get Crown, get the OMIX, which is the same as Rugged Ridge. They come with new stainless hardware. The fit is good and they look fantastic.

Great looking TJ. Some people refuse to believe Omix/Rugged Ridge make anything decent other than phone cases. I have the same flares and they are pretty much identical to stock. They also seem darker than when I bought my Jeep new but that might be due to how quickly the originals faded.
Krylon Fusion and the only prep is wiping the flares with rubbing alcohol. No sanding, scuffing or primer needed.
It was actually renamed Forever Crap.

I had a shop use the adhesive stick on weights on one of my Jeeps. They fell off 30 minutes later in my driveway. I got a refund and went somewhere else.

I hate that they do that. On steel wheels it compromises the paint too, and now there’s some rust.
They didn't have that option on my current wheels. The bolts confused them.
p.s. I listed these wheels on Craigslist for $300 (5) and have had a lot of people wanting them. Not even a scuff in 4 years. I think they go for $120 each plus center caps now. I'm thinking of going to the Mammoth Boulder charcoal 8" wide wheels. I had them on my white Sahara. Still undecided.

My Alloy wheels are stuffed from the weights being put on the outside, PO must have had them re balanced at some time with lots of weightsYeah, this rig is under construction.
I didn't notice until I had new tires fitted but there are now a lot of weight marks left behind that wont polish out.I was looking at similar

My flares are all oxidized and look like total crap. I do NOT want to paint them because I WILL screw it up. Over the years I have tried countless products to get that oxidation off and nothing works. Any suggestions from the masters?
Mine looked worse. Believe it or not. They were a blue color. The PO had obviously left my Jeep out in the socal sun for a long time. Everything was toast that was plastic.
My vote is cut your losses. And just buy new ones. Thats what I'm doing.
I mean no harm in trying the krylon. But then there is the task of taking them off and putting them back on. Twice of it doesn't work.
Or you could pick up a used set in not quite so toasted condition.
And paint them.Your best bet is to look for a set of 4 1/4" Painted Sahara flares if you don't like fade.
Quadratec has those Omix flares for $112.
