I try to be very welcoming and a good ambassador here , but this thread is disrespectful of an icon, of its followers and the joy of owning one.

He's better off posting it here instead of on Pirate or JF. He wouldn't be able to sit for a week with the butt hurt he would have received. (to put it nicely).

I don’t know…. maybe everyone should ease up a little. The guy is obviously a car guy (overland build and tracking a Miata). TJs are awesome to drive and mess with.

I say welcome. Hope you enjoy it. The only thing that makes a TJ a money pit (more than any old vehicle) is all the cool stuff you can do to/with them, and that’s your choice. If the TJ turns out to be your next thing, this is a great place to learn.

I could be wrong, but I doubt OP is still with us. To your point, I'm definitely hooked and love how the TJ is older and friendly for us backyard tinkering types so we can mod our rigs as we see fit.
