Front bump stop towers

While doing all my other suspension upgrades I needed to replace my bump stops because they had pretty much rotted away to nothing. But after installing my new springs and mocking all of it up, is there something wrong with my tower that holds the cup and jounce? I had issues getting the old springs out and putting the new ones in was a pain too. But with these clearances I don't see how the spring won't catch on the jounce cup once I put it all back in place. In the following pictures I don't have the weight of the engine back in the vehicle, but I don't think that would alter the geometry all that much, would it?

It appears as though it is bent out of position and even adding weight will not change that since the movement is vertical except when the axle is not parallel to the ground.

I assume these photos were taken with the vehicle on the ground?

What size is your lift? Are those Currie 4" springs?

I can't see the spring perch pad on the bottom, but it looks like your axle may be too far back. Are you using adjustable control arms? If so, I'd center your axle so that it's more forward.

The movement is not only vertical. The axle moves forward when the springs compress.

100 % correct, so if they were longer springs then that angle may be fine?

Vehicle is on the ground, but like I said, no engine or really much front end weight on it since I'm finishing up the engine swap.

4" suspension lift.

I don't currently have adjustable arms on the front end. The UCA and LCA are from what the PO put on. The springs don't really have any "banana-ing" going on, everything is pretty vertical.

What pictures do you want and what angles?

Yes, as the axle droops it also moves rearward. With 4" lift springs and no weight it's exaggerating the effect.

get 3 friends to stand on the front bumper then see what it looks like.
with no weight, all the springs tension is pushing up. once that weight is replaced it will force the spring to push the axle down and balance that weight.
