As for the drill, I suspect there is one in the room. I don't use them much for this type work. The 3 impacts with the interchangeable bits that fit into the chuck make it fast and easy to swap into place. Limited hole saws, drill bit, and bit holders really slow down the use of an actual drill.

My job as well. I was the tile setter. You learn quickly that the job is only as good as your prep. Plaster the walls straight and flat, your tile comes out straight and flat. I also got to do the pick-up framing so I could get a head start on making my live easier.
I like doing different things. I dislike some of those things with a passion. I despise paint and drywall.
