Headsets

So I have an idea...
I have 2 David Clark H10-76 headsets with U-174/U plug in connection chord.
I am electronics handicap, meaning I know very little about the subject haha.
Anyhow, is it possible to hook up my 2 headsets inside my 2002 Tj to where the driver and passenger can talk. At the same time having a Push To Talk capability to the CB radio if another Jeep calls over.
Now of course this most likely isn't Legal on the road

I have considered doing that since I also have a couple David Clark aviation headsets. It's actually easily done, you only need to buy an inexpensive aircraft intercom box and plug them both into it.

This is what I have and thought about using in my Jeep but never got around to it since I don't do the type of offroading where I can't hear my passenger.

Yes, that's what an intercom is for... it works perfectly for that. It is voice actuated with squelch controls to make it work well and easily for driver-passenger communications.

Getting it to connect up and work properly with a CB radio on the other hand would not be a trivial task. It'd take some engineering to get it to work right. I have a fair electrical/electronics/communications background and decided against tackling that for my Jeep's ham and CB radios. Aircraft radio speaker & mic impedances are different animals and don't lend themselves to working (easily) with CB and ham radios.
