It looks like it's got a lot of goodies on it, and a Rubi at that...

I'm back, and still looking! Had a couple deals fall through with people beating me to the punch. Thoughts on these 2 babies? Heading to Michigan this weekend so was trolling listings up there.

-has minor accident on record but appears pretty clean. i would negotiate price based on the minor accident so my resale value is accounted for.

- rare color, and looks sweet.

thanks again for your wisdom and clarity.

I see a lot of rust that's been painted over on that first one.

The second one is a cool color, but I'm curious to see what these "minor" rust spots are.

Man, I wish sellers would do the right thing and take photos of the frame. It would save SO much time.

If I was in your shoes, I wouldn't waste my time driving to see a vehicle (not one that was far away at least), unless the seller sent me high resolution photos of the frame and underside.

Because ultimately, the condition of the frame is the biggest thing to look out for on a used TJ, above anything else.

agreed. i'm heading up that way anyways so was thinking of checking them out - more interested in the intense blue pearl one though. I'll get more pictures of the rust spots.

If you're going to be in the area anyway, certainly worth checking them out, especially the rust situation to get a closeup look. I like the blue one, but it might come down to whether you want an auto or manual transmission. And the rust.

Always wondering why someone is selling a vehicle...one of the clues is the hardtop in the shed. I can see a Freedom Top hard top in the background for a JK, so that's probably why they are selling the TJ - too many Jeeps...(is that possible??) In any case, it's nicer to find out that someone is selling a Jeep because they don't need it any more, rather than wanting to unload a problem on someone else.

Does this post mean this TJ is for sale? If so, does it cost the arm or the leg, since not both? :D
