Help please: Now need an adjustable front track bar that includes mounting bracket

Ugh. So I thought I was going to get my jeep today, but that isn't going to happen. Come to find out the track bar on the front is completely buggered up and the aftermarket mount on the axel is welded by an idiot. Now I need an adjustable track bar with mount that would be welded on with it. I believe they make these for clearance, but I am not sure and wanted to ask on here. The front axel is a Dana 44, if that matters, but it might not. I am pretty bummed out that we are now welding a bracket on the Jeep. It isn't like I could shoot out to some junk yard and grab a Dana 44 front axel. Any advice would be a huge help and any pictures of an aftermarket set up would be helpful.

Which side are you asking about? Is it the driver's side frame mount or passenger-side axle bracket that is boogered up?

I can take some pictures of mine...Pretty sure it will be easier to cut some square tube for your mount than try to find one to buy...

Passenger side. Here is more information. So my Jeep was lifted 5.5" and it has a lot of modifications to accommodate that lift. Seems there is a bracket on the axel that might actually be in tact and hold the stock track bar, but we have no pictures yet to go off of. I will be looking around to see if the bracket that is there is actually the stock bracket to hold the track bar in place. Then there is the steering stabilizer. Where and how does the stock one mount? A couple of holes rounded, but we can fix that.

Yes, it should go in the lower hole. It does not look wallowed out, which is a good thing.

The OE track bar mounting bolt hole (the smaller lower hole) appears to be totally intact and ready to bolt the passenger-side of the track bar to. That steering stabilizer bolt hole at the top is totally screwed though, it needs a welder to repair it.

Okay that is what we though, but here is the problem. The stock track bar seems to be too short with this OME 2.5 lift. The lift doesn't come with an adjustable TB. Seems a little nuts, but maybe it will work. This is another option, but hope we can use the stock hole.

Here is a pic of mine...track bar in the lower hole, stabilizer in the upper. Looking at yours, you may have to put a rachet strap on the axle to shift it enough to align the bolt holes.

So you have two options; pull the body over until the holes match up; get an adjustable track bar. I am at 2.75" in front and was off about .75" with the stock track bar. It was certainly usable but I did eventually install a JKS adjustable track bar.

We ratchet strapped it over to fit, but it seems the track bar is too short to make it work. Lost. I would hate to drill another hole shown in that last picture I posted. That was for reference.

Maybe I have to get an adjustable track bar period. That makes me a bit nervous that a stock one isn't working on this OME lift. Why?

If you want your front axle to be centered, you need an adjustable length track bar. The rear axle has the same issue, suspension lifts push them to the side. But in the rear, you can use either an adjustable-length track bar or a track bar repositioning bracket... which unfortunately is not available for a front axle.

Anyone have a Mopar track bar length? Can't seem to find one. Thanks for any help.

The OE Mopar track bar's length doesn't matter, you just need an adjustable length aftermarket front track bar.

There is no need to worry, it will not cause any issues other than being a touch off center. Do not drill a new hole, but an adjustable tb if you want it centered. The JKS is beefy, runs a JJ, and is reasonably priced.

They are available but I wouldn't run one.
