Hello, I'm the second owner of a 2005 TJ "X" that I bought 10 years ago. I want to upgrade the coil springs and shocks from the old 3 1/4 Rough Country spacer kit, (its not offered nor do they have any info on its parts) , to a 2 1/2 - 3" lift with something that will soften up the logging and mountain roads I drive on. I run 31X10.50 15 tires and wheels. My question is how do I know how to determine the correct shock extension and collapsing lengths that will match up with the current coil springs. The Jeep drives well on the highway but in the PNW mountains of Washington, you feel every washboard and pot hole that there is! Any ideas/ suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.

Airing down to 10psi is your best friend.,

Every shock mounted in the stock locations is an off the shelf shock and sucks.
