IAC problems

I'm currently having a problem where my IAC always seems to get clogged every other month. Some days my Jeep won't start unless I give it gas and turns off when I stop. I just open the throttle body and spray some throttle body cleaner in the IAC and it works like before. Is there a permanent fix so I don't have to always clean it?

Stock air cleaner? How's your air filter? Check the connections between the sections for tightness and leaks?

What about blowby on your pistons...you have a hose connecting the valve cover and intake... that's either a PCV or a restricted orifice... could have aerated oil going down that hose and clogging up your IAC.

Stock air cleaner, only missing the elephant trunk looking thing where the air comes in and the air filter is a couple of months new. Not sure about Blowby on the Pistons.

Pull the hose off the intake while it's running and see if you get smoke out of the hose.
