install was super easy, works amazing with apple carplay.
Did you have to put in a different dash piece to fit the double din and if so what part did you use. I have found the one on amazon but not much info on it.i have the Pioneer MVH-1400NEX from here - https://www.crutchfield.com/S-gU5MTAjFabg/p_1301400NEX/Pioneer-MVH-1400NEX.html

Does anyone have any pics of the double din units installed? What map system are you using? Can you import topographic maps? How about xm reception in the back country? Thanks, Tim
How did you get the thing to have the Jeep logo?
I agree with this, there are more useful things to put on your radio display.I would use your phone for GPS. The headunits do not update that often. And generally get outdated rather quickly.
My Sony will let you upload one, only one, jpg for a background. How did you get the thing to have the Jeep logo?

I went with my Blaupunkt because of the following. It will play DVD’s anytime (for the kid), it has backup camera and it also has a front camera which I’ve got switched inputs allowing a winch (front view) plus spotter cameras for both front tires as shown in my picture above.Forgot to mention they almost all come with backup cams too. Yes. Alot of more valuable stuff to put on your headunit. This is why I also recommend a Tablet. For less than $200 you can have an ultimate device that does it all. Leave your head unit for just music and backup cam. $400 bucks you could have a two din head unit with backup cam. And a tablet for handling mapping software and maps that you can upload to it and even overlay. The options are endless with a tablet. And you don't have to leave it in the Jeep to get ripped off.
Buy one of these and put an Arkon tablet mount on it.

Or just use this Arkon mount on your windsheild. It's rides on the dash and into any position you want. And easier to remove. I use one like the one above and the suction cup is very very strong. It won't come off.

Dig around on Arkons site. They make just about any mount to mount just about anywhere. Tons of different attachment options.
