Is this a good price for a 2001 Sahara with 31k miles?

I’m looking at a 2000 Sahara manual soft top with 31k miles. It will be my first Jeep. They are asking $15k. Is this a good price? Seems a bit high. Thanks for the help.

Yes, that is high, or they are high. I paid $16K for my 2003 Sport when it was only 2 years old and had 39k miles.

Granted it has low miles. Check to be sure it hasn't been towed behind a motorhome, in which case the drivetrain will have a bunch more miles on it than the odometer is telling. $12k seems more reasonable, assuming it is all bone stock.

Awesome, thanks again

Are you looking at the one in Alameda? If so it looks pretty clean. Definitely climb under and feel inside the frame. 15k is a little high but I'm sure the dealer expects to negotiate.
