While I do believe in doing it right or not doing it at all, we all have our moments. Let's see some of your best redneck engineering!

I'll start with my passenger mirror. I hit an owl one night last year and knocked my driver mirror off. I decided to replace both mirrors and then broke my passenger one off shortly after. I'm stubborn and don't like you pay for things twice so this was my fix. It's held up for about 6 months now.

Am a master at making shit.

Some yrs back made my own magnetic phone mount. Still works!

Once again, did this some time ago. Made my own USB audio/power jack for my iphone, it's tucked away out of sight.

I've rewired a few things on my truck, some were software related. Changed OnStar into a speaker phone on my 04 Tahoe.

Made my own console to look like an ammo can. I couldn't see the sense in buying an ammo can just to cut it up. So I repurposed a file cabinet to look like an ammo can that was repurposed as a jeep console

Clever!!! I will deff be re purposing something for a center console. I do see ammo cans super cheap all the time though, maybe I'll go with that.

I also made this shade top. Its stitched with 6lb test. It cost 28$ to make.
I also made my mirror relocation brackets and mirrors for absolutely nothing. All made by me in the USA!
