Longer control arms for more articulation

so dont install the rear shocks on top of cross member ? seems like something easy to do.
Bet i could figure out how to raise the front shocks too without too much trouble .

It’s up to you and if you want more uptravel. Uptravel is nice in the rear. Definitely helps prevent the Jeep from getting pushed over in certain scenarios. I vote go for it! Don’t forget to readjust your bumpstops afterwards though!

two things.
1. if I increase my up travel , I will be decreasing my down travel right?? is that ok?
2. If I do mount the barpins on top of the rear cross members, I will have to raise my front shocks about the same amount also ?? ( loosing down travle ) Is that correct ????
is that ok to loose down travel ??

Correct that you will lose downtravel. Again it’s all about what you want out of your rig and understanding what you are after and why. Let’s say you are at an average of 4.75” of uptravel in the rear right now between the two sides. That gives you 5” of downtravel. If you mounted on top you would be at 5.75 up/ 4 down. I think I would pick the latter if it was my rig since I value uptravel a little more (smoother ride over bumps, less tippy when undulating, etc)
