After putting an actual load in my M100, I found that the springs were so bad the were unusable.
I was able to find some springs at the Quad " Crown A612 Front Leaf Spring Assembly ." they actually fit perfectly, though they were a bit thicker. And because they were thicker I had to get some new U bolts " Crown J0909222 Front Leaf Spring U-Bolt " I will need to trim the length once I figure out how long I want them.

these will fit both the M100 and the M416 Jeep Trailers

How about your shocks too? I have original springs in my 67 M416 and they're plenty strong still, i've had a ton of weight in that trailer before and for the heck of it even filled it up with water once just to see if the plugs will hold.

The previous owner put air shocks on it, I assume to put off buying the springs, but they are in very good shape.
the previous shocks were so bad if I stood in the back of the trailer, the springs were almost flat.

But on the bright side, they will make some very good knife blades!
