Magical brake pads

After dealing with some subpar brake pads, that I didn’t help much with a stuck caliper, I decided to give MrBlaines pads a shot. All I can say is WOW. They will almost lock up my 35s. Not quite but you can hear them bark/ howl. After a brief break in I am impressed. If you are running 35s and need a bit more braking power get ahold of him and see if they are right for you. Not all brake pads are created equal!!!!
Now I just need to figure out where to put my Hello Kitty stickers.

They're great. Besides the Vanco big brake or WJ swap, it's about the best we can do. I've been running them for 5 years or so on 35s and it was a massive upgrade. They produce quite a bit of brake dust, but an extra wheel cleaning here and there isn't too bad.

A point of clarification. All wearable compounds in the form of friction products produce dust when clamped tightly against spinning iron whether it is a brake drum, brake rotor, clutch, etc. If they didn't, they would never wear out and never need replacement. The only difference between a high dust and a low or "no" dust pad is the color of the dust and how easy it is to see it.

Keep braking aggressively to keep the performance up. Also make sure your pads are not on upside down.

They are really worth having, I'd even slap them on if I was still on 33s

Pads are on correctly. Had to check online as I put them back as I saw them come off. Lol

Fine...they produce a lot of visible black dust. It wasnt a knock on the product in the least. Just an honest observation and the only tiny con I've personally found with using your brakes. I've bought 3 sets

They're not just for the tall tires. I put BMB front pads on with 31 inchers on my LJ. They're great on pavement or dirt.

I pull a 3000 pound trailer in the summer over mountain passes, and the stock brakes just weren't cutting it. I also have a full retrofit brake set ordered for the trailer — just waiting on the ol' supply chain.

I do need to order a knuckle saver kit. I have one bolt hole that is not good. The bolts that came with a knuckle I bought locally was a bit short. I installed a proper length bolt and it torqued to spec. I like the looks of the inserts and want them on hand for the next removal of rotors, which hopefully won’t be for a while. Blaine, do you have just the inserts available? I already have bits and a tap.

We use these. I do wish they would get their pricing figured out. The last batch of 250 we bought were over 3 bucks each in bulk.
