Make Turn Signals Work Like Fog Lights

Hey guys,

Long time lurker.

Ex 4 banger turned JKU owner recently converted to 6 cylinder TJ owner and plan on sticking around this time.

Has anyone converted / transformed the fender blinkers to work kind of like the JL foglights on the fenders? Just day dreaming about what my possibilities could be. would love to have some extra light coming from those angles.

I think you are getting DRL (Daytime Running Light) confused with a fog light. The white lights in the JL fenders are DRL’s.

Right. I guess that's how I should have worded it...

Hack a way to get some DRLs in the fenders of the TJ. Totally forgot that was the term for them.

TJs have a module in Canada to make headlights into DRLs.

It may be doable but, given the wonky wiring that the TJ's use for front turns, side turns and marker lights, it would not be easy. If you really want that, search for some after market light. Most of the ones you will see will be headlight assemblies but, you may get lucky and find something for the turn signal assemblies. Otherwise, maybe add something to the fender or grille?
