If it works i’m thinking meet here at 6:15pm Friday. i’ll sent you guys my cell number closer to and I can bring the extra tent. I might need to leave early Sunday morning but I can always grab the tent back next week as you’re not far away.

It's a 3 hr. drive for you city slickers to get to Upper Lake, so you'll be heading up the mountain in the dark. A possible compromise since you guys are heading up late would be to camp out at the base of Elk Mt. at Middle Creek Campground.

I could meet up with ya'll there Saturday morning and we could head up the mountain for a more dispersed camping spot for ya'll for Saturday night. Just a suggestion.

Yeah with the three hours up there, leaving around 3 that’s why I was thinking of getting to upper lake 6:15 which will be dark.

I don’t have strong opinions if you guys want to go to that site friday. I also have lots of lights on my truck :D

Jim....don't forget about Black Oak camp ground that's between DV and the lookout. That might be a good spot for them for Saturday night. It gets very little use and no idiots around like Deer Valley. Just a thought.

Yep, going to roll by there and show them that spot as well. Thanks for the tip.

Mind another tag along? Honestly been a Bay Area person most my life but never really explored MNF.
Wont be camping but can meet at either the Gas Station or camp ground of choice Saturday morning.
You can meet up with me Saturday morning at 9am at the Chevron in Upper Lake. I'll be meeting up with @Gone-N-Done-It there, I think?
