Booo, work can wait a week.
Unfortunately, I’m tied to the legislature’s schedule and this year’s session doesn’t end until the 7th. I’ll likely have quite a bit to wrap up the 8th.

Since wife is going we've changed accommodations and will be staying at The Field Station. Pretty cool place on the N edge of town. Pool and hot tub (that's a requirement)!

Sorry @JMT didn't mean to invite myself over like that.
Zax could probably accommodate us all. i think the Moab brewery could too - I love their wings
Looks like I’m gonna miss out as I arrive in the States within the last 2 weeks of May … damn
What are you gonna be doing out here?
I have been putting off having to back out of this trip. We are having to repair and upgrade our master bath sooner rather than later. Looks like I will have to wait until next year myself.
Hold an imaginary steering wheel and pretend I’m in my Jeep making brmmmm brmmmm noises
Me and my mate were planning on going to Bryce Canyon and to go and see the arches in Moab…. which we will still do as part of our trip
I can rebuild a TJ in eight days and I've gutted and rebuilt kitchens and bathrooms in a long weekend for realtors. No excuses!

I don't think so. I was really looking forward to meeting some forum members and lbasket's burritos. Being retired, I have to make tough decisions sometimes.
You can rent a JL in Moab. It’s spendy and they don’t let you do hard trails (I had to pay extra to do top of the world when I crushed a fuel line on mine a couple of years ago). Still, it might be worth it to get out.
Ha!
Just saw this... I go to Moab every year the beginning of May
Have always wanted to do the trifecta, would be great to join you guys for that at least!
Sign me up!
Edit to add: Seven Mile Rim not on the list? That's a fun trail![]()
@lBasket I see Rory from trailmater did Pritchett in Mini on non-beadlocked 33” KO2s in 3.5 hrs out and back. Granted, more wheelbase and armor and he’s probably done that trail several times by now
