Monroe shock leaking again with 50 miles on it

I had Monroe OE spectrum shocks on stock stock Jeep for a while. I had them exchanged under warranty for bad bushings and because the shocks didn't have any gas charge left in them.

Fast forward to today: Jeep has been in the garage getting worked on for a couple years and I started driving it a little bit lately. Today I noticed an oil leak on the right rear shock.

Wondering if maybe KYB would be better? I don't see many other options for a stock ride height and stock ride quality. I thought I remember seeing that KYB was OE supplier on these Jeeps?

Looks like Sachs is the OEM, not KYB. Unfortunately they don't make aftermarket versions for the TJ.

KYB is a great shock for a OEM ride. You will not be disappointed.

The OEM for KYB is the Excel G.

Ha! After spending the last couple years repairing all the salt/rust damage, I keep it out of the salt, rain, mud, sand, puddles. I won't even do a wash. Still got a lot of work to do though.

They lube the rubbers at the factory (like Trojan). I wouldn't pay $50 each for oem shocks. I also haven't driven a stock Jeep for than a month since buying my first one 20 Jeeps ago.
p.s. The same goes for wives. Wives and Jeeps are so much more useful and fun with mods/upgrades.
